The Premier Q-line DD3 is Discmania’s flagship distance driver, created for players who demand maximum distance combined with reliable control. Engineered to handle high power with a strong forward push, the Premier DD3 thrives on open fairways and long tee shots where confidence is essential.
For years, the DD3 has been the backbone of Discmania’s distance lineup, trusted by touring professionals and advanced players. With the introduction of Premier Technology, the DD3 gains additional distance while maintaining its proven flight characteristics. Massive glide and powerful forward carry allow players to access full-flight distance without giving up control.
As a stable to overstable distance driver, the DD3 handles high-speed releases with ease. It resists turning under power, carries confidently down the fairway, and finishes with a predictable fade. Its stability and comfortable rim feel also make it a strong choice for powerful forehand players seeking dependable distance.
The Premier DD3 is built for advanced players and professionals who want a durable, consistent distance driver that performs at the highest level.
Niklas Anttila on the Premier DD3:
“The Premier DD3 gave me confidence I have never had before on distance shots. It gives me extra distance without sacrificing the control the DD3 has always had. I really think any skill level can benefit from this disc.”

Discmania, along with Latitude 64° and Kastaplast, is probably one of the best known European disc golf manufacturers based in Finland. Discmania was founded in 2006 and launched its first disc, the MD1, which was manufactured by Innova Champion Discs.
In 2019, the existing line of disc golf discs, henceforth called "Originals", was joined by two other product lines that expanded Discmania's product line. So Discmania had Latitude 64° produce the "Evolution" product line and Yikun Discs produce the "Active" product line.
Both product lines now offer an almost complete range of discs, with the "Active" series being a low-cost option for beginners due to its production in China.
In 2021, the last but the biggest change in Discmania's product range took place. Due to the increased demand for disc golf discs as a result of the boom in the sport during the pandemic and the problem that Innova could hardly keep up with the production of the "Originals" series, Discmania decided to take over the production of the "Originals" series for the first time. In 2021 Discmania opened its own production facility in Sweden, where the "Originals" series was produced from then on. From this point on, the company started to re-release their own bestsellers, starting with discs like the P2 and the MD3. To this day, Discmania still re-releases the old favourites from the Originals series, but also expands the range, as with the forthcoming FD1. Besides the stock releases, Discmania is also known for the signature releases of its pro players like Eagle McMahon or Kyle Klein, who often recombine plastic types with existing moulds.
