Description
Article Description

To control the fairway is to control the game and Idog is the fairway driver in charge of this task. This versatile disc will come in handy more often than you think. Send it flat and watch it hold the line with a gentle flip, use it for tricky sidearm approaches, throw it high and trust the fade. Idog is an old uncommon Swedish word for diligence or industrious, and this is what we want it to become, a reliable workhorse a new best friend.

Kastaplast
"Kastaplast is a disc manufacturer founded in 2013, based in Stockholm, with the goal of producing discs and accessories of the highest quality. Their first disc was the RASK, notable for its unusual shape and second wing. Unfortunately, this disc was so difficult to throw that it attracted only a few followers. The second attempt at producing a disc was a complete success. The Kaxe is a midrange disc that borders on being a fairway driver. Combined with the K1 plastic, it is an outstanding disc. The most successful disc from Kastaplast to date, however, is the Reko putter, which pretty much gets everything right. In early 2022, Latitude 64° became a co-owner of Kastaplast. The production is set to be moved to Skellefteå in 2023."

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
