The Kastaplast Krut in K1-Line plastic is an overstable and reliable distance driver, perfectly suited for experienced players and those who prefer long drives. Kastaplast's K1-Line material is known for its superb durability and an excellent combination of firmness and gumminess, offering enhanced grip. The discs are available in both solid and translucent colors, catering to various preferences.
In terms of flight characteristics, the Krut has a speed rating of 12, indicating high velocity. With a glide of 4, it achieves significant distance in flight. Its turn value of 0 and fade of 4 demonstrate that it is particularly overstable. This means it tends to drift to the left for right-handed backhand throwers and the opposite for left-handers, also applying to forehand throws by right-handers. The Krut is exceptionally reliable in all wind conditions, maintaining its flight path even in headwinds without turning over and always ending with a strong, dependable fade
"Kastaplast is a disc manufacturer founded in 2013, based in Stockholm, with the goal of producing discs and accessories of the highest quality. Their first disc was the RASK, notable for its unusual shape and second wing. Unfortunately, this disc was so difficult to throw that it attracted only a few followers. The second attempt at producing a disc was a complete success. The Kaxe is a midrange disc that borders on being a fairway driver. Combined with the K1 plastic, it is an outstanding disc. The most successful disc from Kastaplast to date, however, is the Reko putter, which pretty much gets everything right. In early 2022, Latitude 64° became a co-owner of Kastaplast. The production is set to be moved to Skellefteå in 2023."
