Words from disc designer Tomas Ekström about the Sapphire:
When I designed the Sapphire I had three main goals in my mind. The first was to make a faster Diamond which can go longer and be a natural step up for the Diamond fans. The second was to achieve a rim that was easy to grip with a shallow feel, even if it's wider than the Diamond. The third goal was to achieve a step up in stability, because I think all Diamond fans would love to have a faster driver with a bit less high speed turn.

In the midst of the ”disc golf community” that grows and flourishes in Bergsbyn (Sweden), a few of the experienced players and devoted enthusiasts had the dream, desire and vision to develop and produce disc golf products that would elevate the sport we all love to new heights in terms of quality and class. The passion for the sport is always in the forefront of everything Latitude 64° manufactures, but also the determination to offer a wide variety of products that will suit all types of players, from the fledgling newbie to the avid professional.

Gold Line is a high quality plastic blend. At the beginning of the blend, the same plastics as Opto Line were used, but a new polymer was added to achieve a better grip without losing the excellent durability of Opto Line.

The Orbit design is a color design by Latitude 64 that is applied to various disc models. The design consists of different colors arranged in circular patterns, which creates a very eye-catching appearance. These color patterns are available on various plastic types and may look different depending on the disc model. The Orbit design is very popular among disc golf players and has become a recognizable trademark of Latitude 64.
