The Nomad was developed together with James Conrad as part of his signature line. Travel, exploration, and places with a special meaning to James form the foundation of the series. Arches National Park was selected as the concept for the Nomad months before James Conrad went on to win the World Championship in Utah.
Art Director Mike Inscho combined the natural themes of the James Conrad Line with the science-inspired identity of MVP Disc Sports. The artwork represents Arches through waveform-like topographical lines and depicts a trailhead that is especially meaningful to James.
The shape of the Nomad also follows James Conrad’s preferences. Its depth, shoulder height, and small bead were designed to create his ideal putter. Inside the Circle, the Nomad delivers a neutral flight. From Circle 2, a controlled fade begins to appear, while the disc reliably holds both hyzer and anhyzer angles.
Off the tee, the Nomad offers a straight, stable flight with controlled glide. It provides confident, accurate lines for players of different power levels without carrying unnecessarily far past the target.
