The MVP Disc Sports Catalyst in Neutron and the Classic version is an understable high-speed distance driver designed for long throws. Its stability profile makes it highly useful even when thrown with less power, giving newer players an accessible way to reach greater distance.

The Catalyst is similar to a longer Wave. Average- and lower-power players can access easy distance with plenty of glide and a power-responsive combination of turn and a straighter finish. It is well suited to long anhyzer lines and controllable turning flights.

Higher-power throwers can use the Catalyst for controlled rollers, sky anhyzers, and tight turnover lines. Despite its understable flight, it provides enough low-speed bite to hold long turnovers in a tailwind and shape a variety of distance lines.

The Catalyst uses the same core and an even dome as the Octane. This construction provides extra glide for maximum-distance shots. Like all distance drivers in this speed class, the Catalyst can be demanding for newer and average players, who may achieve more distance with slower drivers.
