Description
Article Description

The Classic edition of the Axiom Discs Mayhem combines a responsive straight-stable profile with plenty of speed and durable Neutron plastic. Its pronounced dome promotes distance-covering glide, making the Mayhem a versatile workhorse distance driver for advanced and expert throwers.

Compared with a beat-in MVP Octane, the Mayhem offers a more accessible and straighter flight. It belongs to a demanding high-speed class, but its softened stability makes controlled straight lines easier to achieve.

Expert throwers can expect the Mayhem to stand up from a flat release and produce a long drift. Average-power throwers can also put plenty of force behind the disc without having to fear an unmanageable amount of turn.

Axiom Discs brings a new focus on style, with vibrant color combinations of GYRO® rims, new stamp series and foils, and a unique set of disc models to complement the MVP lineup. Axiom gives players more options for GYRO®-enhanced discs, whether for colors, flight profile, or feel.

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
