The Essence is Discmania’s understable control driver and one of the best-selling discs the brand has ever produced. For Cadence Burge’s Astral Bloom Signature Series, this proven mold comes in Neo Horizon plastic with an Astral Bloom stamp and triple-foil design.
The Essence turns over easily on full-power shots and is also an excellent choice for hyzer-flips. Players who are still developing arm speed will find that it holds a hyzer-flip line reliably. A gentle fade at the end helps the Essence finish under control instead of burning over. Straight out of the box, it is a forgiving and reliable hyzer-flip machine for players of all skill levels. Its excellent glide also makes it an especially fun disc to watch carry down the fairway.
Neo is Discmania’s versatile everyday driver blend. It offers good grip right out of the box, comfortable medium stiffness, and solid durability. The Horizon treatment adds the distinctive visual effect, while the triple-foil design makes this Signature Series especially eye-catching.
Cadence Burge started throwing discs at just three years old in Huntsville, Alabama, before she was even able to ride a bike. In 2022, she became PDGA Amateur World Champion. Eagle McMahon was one of the first to recognize her talent and brought her to Avery Jenkins’s attention, which eventually led to Cadence joining Team Discmania at only twelve years old. Since then, she has continued to rise through the ranks, progressing from the Shield Team to the Signature Team and now the Sky Team, becoming one of the faces of Discmania’s next generation.
By purchasing this Signature Series disc, you are supporting Cadence Burge on tour.

Discmania, along with Latitude 64° and Kastaplast, is probably one of the best known European disc golf manufacturers based in Finland. Discmania was founded in 2006 and launched its first disc, the MD1, which was manufactured by Innova Champion Discs.
In 2019, the existing line of disc golf discs, henceforth called "Originals", was joined by two other product lines that expanded Discmania's product line. So Discmania had Latitude 64° produce the "Evolution" product line and Yikun Discs produce the "Active" product line.
Both product lines now offer an almost complete range of discs, with the "Active" series being a low-cost option for beginners due to its production in China.
In 2021, the last but the biggest change in Discmania's product range took place. Due to the increased demand for disc golf discs as a result of the boom in the sport during the pandemic and the problem that Innova could hardly keep up with the production of the "Originals" series, Discmania decided to take over the production of the "Originals" series for the first time. In 2021 Discmania opened its own production facility in Sweden, where the "Originals" series was produced from then on. From this point on, the company started to re-release their own bestsellers, starting with discs like the P2 and the MD3. To this day, Discmania still re-releases the old favourites from the Originals series, but also expands the range, as with the forthcoming FD1. Besides the stock releases, Discmania is also known for the signature releases of its pro players like Eagle McMahon or Kyle Klein, who often recombine plastic types with existing moulds.

Neo is the standard premium plastic in the Evolution Line, offering a reliable mix of durability, grip, and stiffness. Its slightly translucent, high-quality appearance holds up over time and maintains consistent flight characteristics, even after repeated use.
Compared to softer blends, Neo feels firmer in the hand, giving players a defined, confident release—ideal for power throws, precision shots, and situations where stability is key.
Neo is a great choice for players looking for consistent performance, premium feel, and lasting flight reliability.
Durability (The higher the value, the less damage plastic takes.)
Grip (The higher the value, the better the grip of the plastic.)
Stiffness (The higher the value, the stiffer the plastic is.)
"Signature Series" items are products specifically designed or printed for sponsored team players. The price of these items is usually slightly higher because a portion of the proceeds goes to support the player in their career. It's a great way for fans to show their support for their favorite players while also contributing to their success in the sport.
