Article Description

The Discmania Logic is a low-profile putter with an ergonomic grip, making it a strong choice for controlled upshots. Compared to the Link, it offers a straighter flight and features a beadless design for a clean and comfortable feel in the hand.

The Logic provides a similar amount of glide to the Link while making it easier to shape a variety of flight lines. Designed as a putt and approach disc, it also works well for throws off the tee.

Discmania

Discmania, along with Latitude 64° and Kastaplast, is probably one of the best known European disc golf manufacturers based in Finland. Discmania was founded in 2006 and launched its first disc, the MD1, which was manufactured by Innova Champion Discs.
In 2019, the existing line of disc golf discs, henceforth called "Originals", was joined by two other product lines that expanded Discmania's product line. So Discmania had Latitude 64° produce the "Evolution" product line and Yikun Discs produce the "Active" product line.
Both product lines now offer an almost complete range of discs, with the "Active" series being a low-cost option for beginners due to its production in China.
In 2021, the last but the biggest change in Discmania's product range took place. Due to the increased demand for disc golf discs as a result of the boom in the sport during the pandemic and the problem that Innova could hardly keep up with the production of the "Originals" series, Discmania decided to take over the production of the "Originals" series for the first time. In 2021 Discmania opened its own production facility in Sweden, where the "Originals" series was produced from then on. From this point on, the company started to re-release their own bestsellers, starting with discs like the P2 and the MD3. To this day, Discmania still re-releases the old favourites from the Originals series, but also expands the range, as with the forthcoming FD1. Besides the stock releases, Discmania is also known for the signature releases of its pro players like Eagle McMahon or Kyle Klein, who often recombine plastic types with existing moulds.

Evolution Exo Soft - Standard Plastic

Exo Soft is a flexible base plastic from Discmania’s Evolution Line, offering outstanding grip and a slightly rubbery feel. It performs especially well in cold or wet conditions, where it sits securely in the hand and provides confident releases for putting and approach shots. The material has a touch of give, adapting well to the hand for a smooth, controlled feel.

As a base plastic, it is not designed for maximum durability, which makes Exo Soft a great choice for players who want a disc that beats in quickly and reliably. It excels in short game situations where grip and touch are crucial.

Info about Baseline Plastic

Basic plastics are generally characterized by better grip and a significantly lower price. Unfortunately, this also entails production and delivery-related disadvantages. For example, these plastics already show damage (scratches, scuff marks) and deformation on delivery. In addition, they age more quickly, i.e. articles made of these plastics deform more quickly and change their flight behavior. Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.
