The Spore in Evolution Neo Soft plastic has flight numbers 1/7/0/1. The Soft Neo material is significantly softer and more flexible than standard Neo—it has a rubbery feel, excellent grip, and you can catch it comfortably in hand even in cooler or damp conditions.
Flight behavior is very floaty: high glide, zero turn, with a mild fade at the end. Great for technical up‑shots, short drives, or for warm‑ups and casual play. Landings are gentler, since the disc is less prone to skipping—particularly useful in the short game.

Discmania, along with Latitude 64° and Kastaplast, is probably one of the best known European disc golf manufacturers based in Finland. Discmania was founded in 2006 and launched its first disc, the MD1, which was manufactured by Innova Champion Discs.
In 2019, the existing line of disc golf discs, henceforth called "Originals", was joined by two other product lines that expanded Discmania's product line. So Discmania had Latitude 64° produce the "Evolution" product line and Yikun Discs produce the "Active" product line.
Both product lines now offer an almost complete range of discs, with the "Active" series being a low-cost option for beginners due to its production in China.
In 2021, the last but the biggest change in Discmania's product range took place. Due to the increased demand for disc golf discs as a result of the boom in the sport during the pandemic and the problem that Innova could hardly keep up with the production of the "Originals" series, Discmania decided to take over the production of the "Originals" series for the first time. In 2021 Discmania opened its own production facility in Sweden, where the "Originals" series was produced from then on. From this point on, the company started to re-release their own bestsellers, starting with discs like the P2 and the MD3. To this day, Discmania still re-releases the old favourites from the Originals series, but also expands the range, as with the forthcoming FD1. Besides the stock releases, Discmania is also known for the signature releases of its pro players like Eagle McMahon or Kyle Klein, who often recombine plastic types with existing moulds.

Neo Soft is a premium plastic blend from Discmania’s Evolution Line, offering a noticeably softer and more flexible feel compared to regular Neo. It features a slightly tacky surface that provides excellent grip, especially in cold or wet conditions.
Thanks to its softer composition, discs in Neo Soft tend to settle more quickly on the ground with less skip or bounce—making it a great choice for approach shots or finesse throws. It does beat in slightly faster than firmer blends, showing gradual flight changes over time.
Neo Soft is ideal for players who value touch, control, and a comfortable, grippy feel in hand.
Durability (The higher the value, the less damage plastic takes.)
Grip (The higher the value, the better the grip of the plastic.)
