Description
Article Description

Distance drivers are not only for professionals. The Sapphire is Latitude 64°’s first distance driver in the Easy-to-Use Line and is designed for straightforward handling. The lightweight disc offers extra speed and stability while remaining easy to grip and control.

The Sapphire is designed as the perfect partner to the Diamond, the popular fairway driver from the Easy-to-Use Line. Its slim profile allows for smooth releases, and its comfortable design makes it especially easy to grip for players with smaller hands.

Latitude 64°
In the midst of the ”disc golf community” that grows and flourishes in Bergsbyn (Sweden), a few of the experienced players and devoted enthusiasts had the dream, desire and vision to develop and produce disc golf products that would elevate the sport we all love to new heights in terms of quality and class. The passion for the sport is always in the forefront of everything Latitude 64° manufactures, but also the determination to offer a wide variety of products that will suit all types of players, from the fledgling newbie to the avid professional.

Opto Air - Premium Plastic
For the Opto Air, Latitude uses the same material as for their durable Opto Line plastic discs. However, it is slightly modified with a different process to achieve an amazing result of lighter discs, while keeping the same weight distribution as close as possible to the Opto and Gold Line discs.

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
