Description
Article Description

The MVP Disc Sports Stasis makes its stock debut in Neutron plastic as a controllable overstable approach disc. With flight numbers of 2 | 1 | 0 | 2.5, the Stasis is built for players who want dependable short-game performance and consistent finishes.

The Stasis keeps the unique glide-reducing flight plate profile, straight-flight control characteristics, and comfortable hand feel of its Streamline counterpart. It increases stability with stronger torque resistance and a heavier fade, allowing it to remain trustworthy even on powerful releases.

This added stability makes the Stasis an excellent forehand or backhand approach disc. It handles a wide range of release angles, performs well in the wind, and excels on precise placement shots or utility lines. For players seeking a compact and reliable overstable approach option, the Stasis is an easy fit.

MVP Disc Sports

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
