The MVP Wave can be described as a longer Inertia, offering a stable-understable flight with high responsiveness across a wide power range. Available in weights from 155 g to 175 g, the Wave is a distance driver that many players carry in multiple weights to cover different shot shapes.

For powerful throws, the Wave produces long, gliding turnovers and controlled hyzerflip lines. Players with average power will find that it naturally extends a variety of lines, including anhyzers, hyzerflips, and headwind-assisted turnovers.

The defining feature of the Wave is its balance of turn and fade. A gentle, shallow turn helps generate distance, while the subtle yet dependable fade allows for accurate ranging and placement. High-power throwers will see clear turn and hyzerflip tendencies, while average-power players may require a headwind or an anhyzer release to fully engage the turn. For beginners, the wide-rim design results in a flight that is usable but relatively stable.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
