What is the OurRanger?
The OurRanger is a manual distance measuring device. The distance is determined by aiming at the basket through the OurRanger's openings. At the point where the basket fits best is the distance to the basket. There are 3 different sizes to choose from depending on arm length to find the right size. For in-between sizes, choose one size smaller.

What To Measure
To know what size to get you need to know the distance from your eye to your hand when in measuring position.
How To Measure
All you need to do is get into the same position as when you're using an OurRanger and take the distance from your eye to your thumb. Check out this video to see how you can measure yourself. All you need is a ruler stick or band.
Stance
Some people like to have both feet pointing at the basket, some like to turn completely sideways and some do a mix of both. Don't overthink it, just imagine that you're walking up to your lie and check what kind of stance you're using.
Elbow-Bend
Be sure to keep a straight arm and elbow. You don't need to force your elbow to full extension.
Just extend your arm in a relaxed way. That's the easiest one for you to replicate.
Hand Position
The best way to get the correct hand position for measuring is to take a credit card sized object (like a pic of your favorite pro player) and hold it out in front of you.

If you're right between two sizes we recommend getting the smaller one and pulling your hand a little closer to your eyes for best results.
