The Axiom Discs Insanity in Fission is a stable-understable distance driver built for glide, easy distance, and versatile flight lines. The Insanity combines straight carry with controllable turn, making it an excellent choice for players who want distance with high usability.

For average arm speeds, the Insanity delivers long, impressively straight flights with a gentle finish. This makes it ideal for controlled distance drives, low laser lines, and accurate shots with added range.

Higher power throwers can use the Insanity for hyzer-flips, long turnover shots, tailwind drives, and technical shot shaping. Its slow high-speed turn creates excellent usable carry, while the neutral finish helps maintain control.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
