The further the number is in the minus, the more understable it is and the more it resists the fade. Article Description

The Axiom Discs Virus is one of the easiest distance drivers to throw in the Axiom lineup, combining exceptional glide with a responsive understable flight. Its natural turn and long carry help players generate effortless distance while maintaining excellent line-shaping potential.

Power throwers can use the Virus for long hyzerflips, controlled turnovers, and sweeping distance lines. The disc holds a steady turning flight before finishing with a gentle forward fade, making it ideal for shaping technical fairways and maximizing distance in tailwind conditions. Players with lower arm speeds will experience easy straight flights, additional carry, and accessible distance without requiring maximum power.

A defining characteristic of the Virus is its consistent turnover tendency combined with forward-moving fade. Skilled players can manipulate a wide range of shot shapes, while developing players can take advantage of its understable nature to achieve longer and straighter flights.

The Virus also performs exceptionally well on standstill shots, powered-down drives, and low-ceiling lines where maintaining forward carry is critical. As a complement to more stable drivers such as the Insanity and Wrath, the Virus adds effortless distance and shot-shaping versatility to any bag.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
