The Latitude 64° Maul is one of the most accessible fairway drivers in the Latitude 64 lineup. In the lightweight Opto Air version, weight is shifted away from the center of the disc, making it very easy to get up to speed.
For players reaching targets between 70 and 95 meters (230 and 310 feet), the Opto Air Maul provides plenty of lift for navigating tight fairways or gaining extra distance in open fields. It is suitable for players learning to throw their first faster driver as well as for experienced players looking for a versatile technical disc for wooded courses.
The disc holds anhyzer lines and finishes with a gentle, predictable fade. Its lightweight construction helps newer players achieve an S-curve flight. The transparent Opto Air plastic offers a comfortable grip and high durability. It stands up to hard impacts while maintaining a smooth release.
The lightweight version is also suited to long tailwind drives and controlled finesse shots.

In the midst of the ”disc golf community” that grows and flourishes in Bergsbyn (Sweden), a few of the experienced players and devoted enthusiasts had the dream, desire and vision to develop and produce disc golf products that would elevate the sport we all love to new heights in terms of quality and class. The passion for the sport is always in the forefront of everything Latitude 64° manufactures, but also the determination to offer a wide variety of products that will suit all types of players, from the fledgling newbie to the avid professional.

For the Opto Air, Latitude uses the same material as for their durable Opto Line plastic discs. However, it is slightly modified with a different process to achieve an amazing result of lighter discs, while keeping the same weight distribution as close as possible to the Opto and Gold Line discs.
Durability (The higher the value, the less damage plastic takes.)
Grip (The higher the value, the better the grip of the plastic.)
