Description
Article Description

The MVP Disc Sports Impulse in Fission plastic completes the 20 mm wing class of controllable distance drivers. With a broad weight range from 155 to 175 g (5.5 to 6.2 oz), it provides a pronounced GYRO™ Push for added control on distance drives.

Its understable profile allows high-power throwers to achieve controllable hyzerflips that carry far and accurately. Players with lower power can use the Impulse for reliable straight-to-understable distance lines with precision. Its flight is characterized by a responsive understable turn and extended glide.

Low- and average-power throwers will find a workable straight-to-understable long-range precision driver. Power throwers can use the Impulse for a range of utility flip and turnover lines. Its understable, high-glide flight makes it highly useful for lower-powered players seeking distance and control, while its responsive flip also supports tailwind and roller distance lines.

MVP Disc Sports

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
