The MVP Disc Sports Impulse completes MVP’s 20 mm wing distance driver class. This category of controllable distance drivers features a wide weight range from 155 g to 175 g, allowing for enhanced GYRO™ push and increased control on distance shots. The Impulse’s understable profile enables power throwers to execute controlled hyzerflips that carry far with accuracy. For lower power throwers, its neutral to understable flight produces reliable straight to turnover distance lines.

The Impulse’s flight is defined by a responsive understable character and extended glide. Low- and average-power throwers will find a workable long-range precision driver with straight to understable flights. Power throwers can access a wide range of flip and turnover utility lines. Its high-glide understable nature makes the Impulse highly usable for players seeking distance with less power, while its responsive flip also supports tailwind shots and roller distance lines for more experienced throwers.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.
