Description
Article Description

The Synapse is our first offering in our 12-speed distance driver category.

Striking a harmonious balance between distance and accuracy, the Synapse represents Thought Space Athletics' flagship entry into the true (pro) distance driver slot. Stable enough to handle big arm speed or stiff headwind, with just a hint of high-speed turn; the Synapse finds its equilibrium as the reliably stable long-bomber in your bag. Bridging the gap between the Animus and your favorite overstable high speed driver, the Synapse is a staple in any bag.

Behind the design:

The "Impossible Triangle" represents the perception of reality and how visually our mind can play tricks on us. Have you ever thought you pured a line only to be beaten down by a tree, branch, or other obstacles? Yeah, we have as well.

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
