Description

Article Description

The Resistor in Eclipse plastic is a slower fairway driver with a more controllable speed. Its flat, overstable profile combined with GYRO® technology helps the disc resist turn and produce a strong, reliable fade.

The Resistor’s flight path is defined by its overstability. Its extended GYRO® push delays the strong fade for high-power throwers, while players with average power will see an earlier and more pronounced fade.

The Resistor is designed for accurate overstable placement shots. Its workable overstability covers essential fairway shots where reliability is needed.

MVP Disc Sports

Glow Discs

Glow Discs are disc golf discs made from glow-in-the-dark plastics or plastics with luminescent additives that charge under light and remain visible in low-light conditions. They allow play during dusk, night, or poor lighting without the need for additional markers or external lighting.

The brightness and duration of the glow vary depending on the plastic and color. Flight characteristics generally match those of the standard versions of the respective models, making Glow Discs easy to integrate into an existing bag. Glow discs are available as putters, midranges, fairway drivers, and distance drivers, and are suitable for both casual play and organized glow rounds.

Flight Path

Power: 67%

Condition: 10/10

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
