Description

Article Description

The Defy is a stable-to-overstable distance driver designed for long, powerful throws. It flies straight before delivering a noticeable, forward-pushing fade at the end of the flight.

With strong resistance to turnover, the Defy holds its line reliably on high-power shots and in headwinds. High-power throwers will get a long, straight flight with a controlled fade. Players with less power will find a manageable overstable distance driver that remains useful for maximum distance.

The Defy can be described as a more stable MVP Photon or a longer Axiom Clash. Like the Clash, it resists turnover reliably even when thrown with high power, making it well suited for long, straight power lines.

Axiom Discs

Axiom Discs brings a new focus on style, with vibrant color combinations of GYRO® rims, new stamp series and foils, and a unique set of disc models to complement the MVP lineup. Axiom gives players more options for GYRO®-enhanced discs, whether for colors, flight profile, or feel.

Flight Path

Power: 67%

Condition: 10/10

Show Spread

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
