Article Description

The Kastaplast Tuff gets you from A to B in the smoothest way possible. This straight-flying putt and approach disc features a rounded edge and a small bead for a comfortable grip and excellent control. Its glide and gentle fade make it a reliable option for controlled approach shots.

In Swedish, the word tuff is commonly used for something or someone resilient, confident, and not easily intimidated. Kastaplast chose the name to match a disc that brings confidence to every birdie chance. With its dependable feel and controlled flight, the Tuff has all the qualities to earn a permanent spot in the putter pouch.

"Kastaplast is a disc manufacturer founded in 2013, based in Stockholm, with the goal of producing discs and accessories of the highest quality. Their first disc was the RASK, notable for its unusual shape and second wing. Unfortunately, this disc was so difficult to throw that it attracted only a few followers. The second attempt at producing a disc was a complete success. The Kaxe is a midrange disc that borders on being a fairway driver. Combined with the K1 plastic, it is an outstanding disc. The most successful disc from Kastaplast to date, however, is the Reko putter, which pretty much gets everything right. In early 2022, Latitude 64° became a co-owner of Kastaplast. The production is set to be moved to Skellefteå in 2023."

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.
