The Axiom Discs Virus in Fission is an understable distance driver built for easy distance and effortless line shaping. As one of Axiom’s easiest-to-throw drivers, the Virus is ideal for players who want added distance with minimal effort and strong glide.

Lower to average power throwers will see long flights with noticeable turn and a gentle finishing fade. This creates controllable distance lines that are easy to extend and shape. The Virus stays in the air well and makes excellent use of its glide.

Higher power players can use the Virus for long hyzer-flips, turnover shots, tailwind drives, and high flex lines. Even on powered-down or standstill throws, the disc can produce a clean and controllable straight flight.

The Virus is an excellent complement to more stable drivers and adds a valuable option for technical shots or effortless distance. Fission plastic enhances weight distribution, spin retention, and overall flight efficiency while maintaining premium durability.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
