The Sapphire is designed to be the perfect partner to the Diamond, our most popular Easy-to-Use fairway driver. With the Sapphire you will get that extra speed and stability in your disc arsenal. It has a slim profile for smooth releases, and it is easy to get a good grip, especially for those of you with smaller hands. Words from disc designer Tomas Ekström about the Sapphire:
When I designed the Sapphire I had three main goals in my mind. The first was to make a faster Diamond which can go longer and be a natural step up for the Diamond fans. The second was to achieve a rim that was easy to grip with a shallow feel, even if it's wider than the Diamond. The third goal was to achieve a step up in stability, because I think all Diamond fans would love to have a faster driver with a bit less high speed turn.

Great grip and beginner friendly flights. This is the perfect plastic compound for your first disc. This is also Latitude's most affordable plastic. Latitude has responded to player requests to make discs that are easier to break in. One test after another led them to this compound, which they called Retro.

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
