The Axiom Discs Insanity in Proton is a classic, out-of-production version of a controllable distance driver. Its flight is designed to resemble a worn-in MVP Inertia, with slightly more high-speed turn and less fade than the Inertia. For average-power throwers, the Insanity flies remarkably straight.
High-power players can shape precise flip and turnover lines with ease. The disc also provides enhanced glide and forward carry at low speeds, making it useful for low-ceiling shots and higher tailwind lines. For players seeking the sweet-spot flight of a worn disc or wanting to achieve bigger Inertia lines with less power, the Insanity is a suitable choice.
Softened shaping gives the Insanity a slow turn and straight fade. As a result, it requires less power for certain Inertia lines and shows a noticeably more neutral fade portion. Average-power throwers benefit from low-height drives that gain distance while remaining easy to range and control.
The Insanity is best suited to backhand drives. Skilled throwers can also use it for controlled forehands, while beginner-power forehands can benefit from its accessible flight. Its high-speed turn excels for hyzer-flip drives, turnovers, smooth-power flat throws, and a range of utility and tailwind shots.

Axiom Discs brings a new focus on style, with vibrant color combinations of GYRO® rims, new stamp series and foils, and a unique set of disc models to complement the MVP lineup. Axiom gives players more options for GYRO®-enhanced discs, whether for colors, flight profile, or feel.
