Description
Article Description

The Axiom Discs Insanity in Eclipse plastic is a distance driver designed to fly like a worn-in MVP Inertia. Its softened shape creates slightly more high-speed turn and a reduced, straighter fade, allowing it to achieve certain Inertia lines with less power while maintaining a notably neutral finish.

Players with average throwing power will find the Insanity remarkably straight. Higher-power throwers can use it for precise flip and turnover lines, while its enhanced glide and forward carry at low speeds make it useful for low-ceiling shots and lines that ride a tailwind.

The Insanity is especially suited to backhand drives. Skilled forehand throwers, as well as players with beginner-level forehand power, can also benefit from its flight characteristics. Its high-speed turn supports hyzer-flip drives, turnovers, smooth flat releases, and a range of utility and tailwind shots.

Axiom Discs
Axiom Discs brings a new focus on style, with vibrant color combinations of GYRO® rims, new stamp series and foils, and a unique set of disc models to complement the MVP lineup. Axiom gives players more options for GYRO®-enhanced discs, whether for colors, flight profile, or feel.

Glow Discs
Glow Discs are disc golf discs made from glow-in-the-dark plastics or plastics with luminescent additives that charge under light and remain visible in low-light conditions. They allow play during dusk, night, or poor lighting without the need for additional markers or external lighting.

The brightness and duration of the glow vary depending on the plastic and color. Flight characteristics generally match those of the standard versions of the respective models, making Glow Discs easy to integrate into an existing bag. Glow discs are available as putters, midranges, fairway drivers, and distance drivers, and are suitable for both casual play and organized glow rounds.

Flight Path

Settings Explanation

This visualization allows you to simulate the disc's flight path based on different throw parameters:

  • Throw Type: RHBH (Right-Hand Backhand) or LHFH (Left-Hand Forehand) and vice versa. Determines the direction of turn and fade.
  • Power: Throw speed from 60% to 120%. At correct speed (green), the disc flies according to the values.
  • Condition: Simulates the disc's condition level. 1/10 = heavily worn (more turn), 10/10 = new (more stable, less turn).
  • Spread: Displays multiple flight paths with different speeds as a colored fan.
  • Paths: Choose between all paths or only the path for the selected power setting.

Note: This simulation is based on the manufacturer's specified flight ratings (Speed, Glide, Turn, Fade). Actual flight characteristics may vary from disc to disc within the same mold and are highly dependent on individual throwing style. This visualization serves as a general guideline.
